Review on πŸ’¦ Discover the Nourishing Benefits of AHAVA Mineral Body Lotion by Sarah Schneider

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Amazingly moisturizing. If you like the smell.

First (-), just me: I wanted to love this lotion SO! I use other AHAVA products (some are actually bought in Israel from their factory) and thought I couldn't miss this one. Judging by the reviews, this is exactly what I need for my dry (AZ) skin. I noticed a few people saying the smell was "antique" or unusual, but a lot of people liked it and I thought I might as well. I can not. I have deviated from describing it as green plum and sandalwood (which I love), but I cannot find that 'smell' in this product at all. For those who cannot pinpoint the scent, the scent is very reminiscent of honeysuckle. Although I grew up in the far south and love the smell when they grow along the road, I can't stand foods that smell like honeysuckle. Don't get me wrong - it's not overwhelming at all. Actually quite subtle; It just doesn't taste right for me: sneezing just doesn't offset the positives. NOW (+): This is a wonderful moisturizer! I mean it absorbs and leaves your skin incredibly supple and fresh. I even noticed that when I was washing my hands, the water that even got on my wrists and hands collected in drops like moisture on the petals of a flower. While a little pricey, it's a large bottle and (to me odorless) worth every penny for the results it delivers. In addition, it takes very little to cover the skin, so you won't run out of a bottle in a week. The lightness of the lotion is just right for the heat: it doesn't "sweat" as soon as you step outside and doesn't cause claustrophobia on the skin. That's all that is advertised.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Almost everything ok
