I was really hoping these caps would work for my 10 year old daughter who has VERY thick long hair. I had put her hair up and back and then put the cap over her hair following the instructions. It snugly fit over everything but as she started swimming the pressure from her hair and head made the cap gradually slip off so she was adjusting it every 5 minutes. Finally I had her remove it completely because it was more of an annoyance than help during her swim lessons. It might work for individuals that have long hair that isn't thick or shorter thick hair but in our case it couldn't handle the combination of thick and long hair.
