I no longer have to lug around my old oversized charger! Use this charger for 3 sets of 2 Duracell 230Ah 6V golf cart batteries connected in series to give a 12V output. This charger does the job and has a charge percentage display feature. At 90% it starts reducing the current from 8A and shows "full charge" on the display when it reaches 100 or more. Note: These golf cart batteries are huge, weighing about 85 pounds each. Use them for our solar system and they are way better than the 12v marine hybrid batteries. This little charger takes a while to charge at 8 amps but these batteries charge better at low amps. We recommend this charger to everyone. It is so light and compact that it can be stored in a small space.
