Review on ๐ŸŽฎ Super Retro Cade Plug and Play Console by Retro Bit by Tony Trotter

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great system to have and carry for meetings

+All games included are pretty good, they are from big publishers and are LEGAL+Controllers included are reliable+Connection is easy - power and HDMI+Long controller cable+Picture is very good+Menu can be sorted by genre or system+You can VERY easily put your own NES, Sega Genesis, SNES and Arcade ROM into the system (maybe more) Hacking or modding required - SD card and controller compatibility only extremely restricted. Very few works, and very few of them are worthy of ownership. No wireless options and no arcade sticks. Retro Bit's own controllers aren't even compatible with it. If you use a ROM from an SD card, they will not be sorted in any way. You have to scroll through the entire list to find it, which can be annoying. Because of this, I recommend only placing games on the map you will be playing on to save time searching. I have a separate SD card for NES, SNES, Genesis and Arcade so the list doesn't get incredibly long. They cannot be sorted or ordered. When using arcade ROMs from an SD card, they are sorted alphabetically by filename, not game name. You can't change the filename or it won't work. - Some input lag, comparable to Raspberry Pi +/- The power cord only plugs into an outlet and is not USB. At the same time, the power supply is shaped in such a way that it can be easily connected to an extension cord without blocking other sockets. In general, I like this system. I would definitely buy it again.

Pros
  • Built to last
Cons
  • Very expensive
