Lumpy coarse soy protein powder is no longer a blender problem. My husband works long hours on a construction site and needs to fill up at lunchtime so I bought him liquid drinks but he had a problem with milk protein so I opted for soy protein which only comes in powder form. I tried mixing the powder with a fork for quite a long time, about 2 minutes, and I still got a lumpy, rough krapola. In addition, the soy powder itself has an unpleasant taste and a chalky aftertaste, which is a separate problem. I was a bit skeptical that the blender bottle would actually work as promised, but the price was cheap enough to give it a try. I add about 2 cups of soy milk, 2 scoops of soy protein powder, and 2 tablespoons of raw honey, shake for about a minute, and refrigerate overnight for a shake on my husband's lunch the next day. It's really a lot better than trying to mix the powder with a fork or even a whisk. I originally bought a sports blender bottle but my husband lost it on the first day so I've now bought an even cheaper 2 pack blender bottle. They are still functional but of course not as stylish as the Sport!
