Review on 💡 Enhanced CTA MR-ENEL9 Compact Battery Charger Kit for Nikon EN-EL9 Battery by Steve Poe

The item I received is not exactly as pictured (hence 4 stars not 5 stars). Similar, but the one I received has little plastic pins that stick out to hold the battery in place for charging. That's not a problem per se, but I've seen them break if you're not careful. I don't want to put this thing in my camera bag for fear it won't be adequately protected from needles. Two metal plates are enough (this caused dissatisfaction in a test). My original Nikon charger also only has 2 metal points/contact points. So it doesn't seem to be a problem. Today I charged two of my Nikon batteries, each battery lasted about 4 hours and both were empty beforehand. Red light indicates it is charging; the traffic light will turn green when they're done. I check "charged" batteries and they are fully charged and ready to use. This is a great and affordable alternative to more expensive chargers. Car and euro option are good too. Excellent purchase! I would recommend everyone to take an extra battery with them so that they are not without power at the critical moment. You can buy Nikon brand batteries for under $10 at Revain.
