I was trying to find a USB 3.0 to USB-C adapter that would work with the Smart & Cool Gen8 USB-C Magnetic Cable and my new Apple iPad Pro works (2018-2018). ). ). I tried the Warmstor adapter and they didn't work. So I decided to try CableCreation adapters and thankfully they work great (at least for charging). Later I will check if they work for data transfer. If you haven't tried Smart & Cool USB C Magnetic Cables yet, I highly recommend them. They make charging much easier and reduce wear and tear on the USB-C connector on the iPad, and if the cable is bumped it will come loose without damaging the iPad. I definitely recommend this Smart & Cool adapter and cables if you have a new iPad Pro.
