A Jeep Wrangler Must Have - REAR DOOR PROTECTION

Jeeps that carry a spare tire on the tailgate often notice cars hovering too close behind them, possibly due to the misconception that that big mud tire is just a fluffy pad of rubber that protects Your own car from major damage. The irony is that at least some of the Jeep's shortcomings are true, as it's the first encountered by a vehicle (like a pickup truck) and therefore avoids the stock or steel off-road rear bumper entirely. a foot further. back and down. By then, the spare tire pressed against (or through) the spot-welded tailgate has already been damaged, along with the rear floor panels and fiberglass roof D-pillars. After some recent encounters with texting fools on the Autobahn, I found this solution to overwhelm these absent-minded FB users with a fair warning that my journey will happily continue after their radiator leaks due to their damaged front components and maybe no one will send becomes a text message to a broken cell phone. To protect the spare tire from the intended impact zone, I used a 4" (5") drop/lift hitch extension (e.g. Teraflex holder is used here). It was outfitted with Tyger Hitch Armor and "Protego!" Even Voldemort wouldn't touch that... except those (like mine) with heavy M/T profile - so this setup should work for you 32" and smaller guys like Series works. Generally it's a matter of preference and calmness on the pavement. Anyhow it will work. In the attached drawings you can see the Tyger structure in this particular build with or without Meyer, the power and crumple zones directly spaced bottom and/or off center. As an added bonus, invest in the very best Receiver Locks (Bolt 7018448 Receiver Lock Shown) to keep your Tyger accountable. All in all, exceptional craftsmanship with enduring Jeep appeal that comes with an OEM -Bumpers or will serve well until the next upgrade to aftermarket steel Safe travel for all participants.
