So far so good - I've come across a few others that look like this but it was the best price and they seem to work well, they give good flickr at a distance and they pass , so it's not the same constant flicker. I post 1 video and 1 photo.

These are excellent bulbs for their purpose. You should use them in clear, frost-free devices for the best effect. Not very bright, but they're great for the look of flames in your lantern or night light. I'm attaching a video to show how we use them and sorry for the shaking I'm old.

I have not contacted the seller, it happened tonight! Very creepy. They don't get wet despite being used outside in a hanging glass lantern on a covered patio. Chandelier warns: don't use a bulb over 60w so I assume that would be fine? I liked them although I always wished they had more light. We've used them in lamps before so I'm not sure what's wrong with this bulb?

These pears are SMALL! They fit on the base of the candelabra, but the bulbs themselves are tiny compared to regular candelabra bulbs. However, this does not change the working functionality of the product. I bought 8 other Lowe "Flicker" bulbs and they blew out after a week. They were just as bright, shimmered just as well, and lasted all Halloween. We received them in over 2 weeks and when it came time to take the jewelry off these little lightbulbs were still working. Very impressive.

I've had them for 1 month and I'm already halfway through the lights! I have a light fast that I come from dusk to dawn so maybe 9-10 hours at most at night. I thought it would be a great deal at ten lights for $10, but I soon realized it was too good to be true! I love how they look when first inserted, like the flame I was looking for, but they seem to burn out within a week or two and that doesn't make them "great"! I have 4 more headlights and will look for them elsewhere when they run out!

We hung them on a chandelier in the dining room and this chandelier is on a dimmer which was fun to fool around with because you can turn off the dimmer and turn off the flame effect not what you'd like but it was fun to look at what that would do now that they say they aren't light, i mean they are light in the sense that you can see the flames but don't expect them to light up the room, they rather serve that

Looks cool. not exactly what I had in mind, but cool nonetheless. But I would not buy these pears here again. I've had them for less than a month (ordered on June 7th and today is June 28th). I use them in 2 bulbs which I leave on all the time for decoration and dim lighting downstairs at night which is about 500 hours of use and I have already had 4 of these burn outs within 3 weeks. I currently have the last working lamps in my lamps. So if another one comes out I'll have to buy a brand new…

Now I know why these bulbs are sold in bulk, need extra tools for frequent replacement. We use 2 of these in our dining room, in a perfectly quiet area of the house where there is no vibration, and in fixtures where we have considerable experience of typical lamp life.
