I used it to carry the cable TV signal from the family room to the new pool house about 60ft. I used 75ft cable to go from the cable box (inside the house) to the splitter in the pool house. With a high quality splitter I can watch HD TV on two TVs in the pool house. The signal quality is identical to a home television. About 60 feet of cable was run underground in 1/2" PVC pipe. This cable is designed for direct burial, but I ran it in conduit to ensure I never had a problem. I had to cut off one end to run it through conduit (the connectors were too wide for 1/2 inch), but this cable uses standard CATV fittings.
