I have a silver (aluminum) version with 2 ultra small screws holding the covers to the motor (only 4 holes per basin). The quality of the aluminum caps is very high. The extra small bolts had a bit of blue threadlock on the threads to ensure those small bolts stay in the motor holes (thanks!). The included magnetic Phillips screwdriver is just the right size to install these extra small screws. The fact that the included screwdriver is magnetic is a life saver as it helps a lot in getting those extra small screws into the motor holes without dropping them (thanks!). Five extra screws are included in the kit in case you lose some of them during the installation process. Remember that you will need very fine hand-eye coordination to fit these caps onto the Mavic Mini motors. Take your time and everything should be fine. It's like a watchmaker! I'm pretty sure the extra weight of the aluminum covers will affect engine running as the engine has to deal with the extra weight. I've never flown with metal covers on motors. Will update after I took it on a test flight. So far I give 4 stars because of the excellent workmanship of the cover and nice extras that help with installation. Can be upgraded to 5 stars after some Mavic Mini test flights.
