Powerful but noisy cordless handheld vacuum

I've had such unsatisfactory experiences with branded cordless handheld vacuums like Black & Deckers over the past few years that I feel like I could buy an unnamed product like buy this one and replace it when needed for half the price of a name brand unit. The truth is that this vacuum cleaner seems to have a lot of suction power for its size. Unfortunately it is also very noisy. According to the manufacturer, it is quiet at around 65 dB, but that's nonsense. I moved the sound level meter about a foot from this vacuum and read 84 dB. On the plus side, the vacuum cleaner comes with a brush, crevice tool and hose nozzles, as well as two filters: one made of paper and the other made of steel. I asked the seller what the difference was and they said that the metal filter lasts longer and dries faster after you wash it. So I'm wondering why they even bother with a paper filter. The vacuum cleaner also has an LED headlight that can be turned on with the push of a button, but unfortunately the light isn't as bright and is slightly forward. than the area you actually vacuum. Lastly, I would like the manufacturer to use a standard Micro or C-USB cable. Like the last Chinese handheld vacuum I had before, this vacuum uses a cable with a pin on the plug end and an indicator light USB socket in full size. In other words, it's possible to lose another proprietary cable, taking away the appeal of USB charging! All in all, the vacuum cleaner does a good, albeit stunning, job out of the box, but I'm deducting a star for its versatility. Limitations.
