The Last of the Tight Hiking Boots

This is the newest brand of hiking boots I've found in 2020 for women who are getting tight. I wore the vasque breeze and they stopped making constrictions. I even called Vaska to see if they had anything in stock to buy them all even though they were completely sold out. After ordering about 30 brands and going to REI to try on EVERY pair of women's boots, I found them in my running store. They are very comfortable and give good ankle support. I actually had to get special insoles as the balls of my feet were so sore after my first 12 mile hike and I was walking dirt trails with almost no rocks. They don't seem to have cushioning in the balls and have a Vibram sole. They're all leather, so they're a bit stiffer than I'm used to. After individual insoles I felt a little better, but not 100%. My Vasque definitely offers more cushioning. I can only wear them for about 10 miles at most except my feet hurt. I'm still looking for another narrow boot with more cushioning. For small hikes and short distances, they fit and fit great, they just need more cushioning at the bottom. Lots of ankle support and stability.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • No Automatic
