I've had this pair and the 'retro' pair for about 1 1/2 years, still looks good, no problems. I wear it all the time, once or twice a week. I machine wash (gentle/cold) and hang dry at least once a week. Still look new. This pair has a lining on the inside of the legs where the 'star and the letter A' is located and it comes untied. I'm not sure what purpose it serves and doesn't pose any issues in appearance or use. Lots of movement for kicks and knees which is good for muay thai. My waist is 34, got big, maybe 36 when I bought it! I like "retro" more but if you think they are a bit short then take theses.
