. The hose that screws onto the nozzle looked beautiful. We couldn't do that on the side with the male carving.

The female side of the hose coiled on the nozzle seemed pretty. On the male side, we couldn't screw it onto the braided lead without appreciable leakage. We've tried with and without tape and extra washers. We then tried another $10 RV tube from our local hardware store, which sealed with no leaks the first time with a simple hand tightening.
