Review on Mixhug Velvet Square Decorative Pillow by Ben Hamilton

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I bought the “Green” and “Chartreuse” colors, in the future I can buy other colors

I hesitated for a long time which green color to buy, so I bought two of them to compare. As you can see from the photos, the "green" color is a cocktail olive, perfect for a martini-style room, but a bit more fall green than I was looking for; more of a neutral green than grass green. Chartreuse is more like a Green Grinch. This would be out of place in a child's room decorated in a rainbow or Easter theme; It's so bright that it can raise the palette of surrounding colors with one hand. I used to use yellow pillows, now I have this one. The stitching inside the pillowcases look good. They look like high quality fabric. I bought 18x18 boxes and put them on top of my world market 18x18 pads, which aren't very thick and compress reasonably into some 16x16 boxes. They fit, with little room for thicker pillows. I see that I will buy these cases in other colors in the future. UPDATE: I ended up buying the dark green so I've added a few pictures. Nice color although not quite what I expected. Glitter is more important for a person's darker color than for the lighter color.
