I wouldn't say it was easy to install but self professed handymen like me can. I couldn't get the transformer to work so I had to visit a few internet forums to sort out the wiring straight to the oven board. Once I connected all the cables everything worked and there were no more dry skin or bloody noses during the winter months. Highly recommended. I installed it on the return line as the instructions say, it can be mounted on either side. Returning it was easier because my oven is in the basement. Other materials you will need are PVC tubing and various drain fittings. 1/4 inch copper pipe for water supply. Shark bite valve for connection to the water supply. materials for air ducts. Thermostat wire (I recommend 7 wires, not 5). Crimp tabs.
