It works exactly as described. I had a find in the shed of an old doctor style suitcase/bag, it was dry, brittle and dirty. Cleaning was separate. But the recovery went well. 4 layers of applique was all I could put on before Christmas and I had to wrap the present. Don't underestimate the work of restoring a large item. It worked so well I'm considering buying an old rescue bag. It was nice to see life returning to something old and unique. The skin looked fresh and supple again. I found it expensive but it works and the reviews are deserved. You get what you pay for.
