Most people buy the Blue Yeti because it's the most recommended microphone for live broadcasters, podcasters, and others in similar media production roles. If you're a solo streamer/content creator/musician, you don't need all Blue Yeti features. One directional pattern with good tonality is better than four directional patterns with not so good tonality. Just grab a boom to bring the mic closer to your face and that's basically all you need for podcasting, guitar solo recording and vocals. Another big plus is the fact that it has an XLR connector. If you want to upgrade from USB input and get an audio interface, you can get better sound. Thanks to the additional USB input, it will last longer than most USB microphones. With proper care, this amazing quality affordable microphone can last a lifetime.
