First, let me answer some reviews about my USB port is slow. What many people don't realize is that a USB-C port doesn't mean it's fast. You MUST have a Thunderbolt Speed port or something that supports speeds up to 3.1 gen2. You can have the fastest drive in the world, but it can only transfer data as fast as the port. Secondly, people complain about the heating with constant use. These settings should NOT be used permanently. That's why you buy a dedicated SSD for your motherboard or an external drive with cooling fins that's built for long-term use. These cases are designed for easy use and backup. The case is durable, the kit comes with thermal pads (maybe they weren't there before, but now they are, and the instructions in English are on the back). One last thing: ENSURE the screw holding the SSD in the case actually fits into the slot on the SSD BEFORE pressing it down firmly. If you slide the SSD into the case THEN try to screw it in, it will stick out and you won't be able to put the case on. all in all a good deal and a speed of 1.2 gigs per second with the blue four wheel drive. (That's another thing, DO NOT buy an SSD that is TOO fast, it's a waste of money) The SSD I bought https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07YFFX5MD?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details
