I was very happy with this timer. I work from home 2 days a week and my 4 year old struggles with the realization that I have to work longer hours (as opposed to 5 minutes at a time). I bought a visual timer and it worked really well for a couple of weeks, setting it for an hour for work and then 15 minutes of playtime together and then another hour and so on. However, as of last week, this timer no longer works. It sits on our fridge as we talk, frozen at 60. Sometimes we turn it on at 60 and it starts counting down to 30 or 25 minutes and then just stops. We've never dropped it or been 'rude'. It lived on the door of our fridge and was used solely for the above purpose. I missed the return window which is very frustrating because now it was just a waste of money. This type of stuff on Revain is boring because obviously you have to believe the bad reviews and the positive reviews and realize that when you buy it it can be either way.
