The device ejects DVD or CD after a few seconds. The troubleshooting guide says this means you need to remove the transport screw. except this device doesn't have it. Or at least a microscopic enumeration of every millimeter of this entity's body does not find it. I even removed all shortcuts. Why do the troubleshooting guide point out that this is a problem that solves your problem but doesn't tell you where it is? Other devices seem to have a red sticker, this one doesn't. Photos from other devices on the web show that the screw is easy to find, this one doesn't seem to have one on the outside. Should I take it apart? Should I start hitting him with a hammer? The immediate plan is to bring it back for a similar model as I cut a hell of a hole in my camper to accommodate this quality control eulogy.
