Most spiralizers offer a choice of different widths while maintaining the standard thickness. Briefton has changed the game by offering different thicknesses and widths. How do you know? Now they have engraved the width, thickness and name of each blade in black on top of each blade. This greatly simplifies blade selection. My favorite is the new 4mm x 3mm tagliatelle blade. The problem with spiral vegetables is that they overcook too easily. I usually use the microwave for 1-2 minutes, but that can also cause overcooking. Only the 4mm x 5.5mm molded roasting blade (also included in blade 7) matches in thickness, and both are exclusive to Briefton as far as I can tell. If you have any concerns the customer service is second to none. I had an issue with a previous one of their spiralizers and a new one was dispatched within a few days. If you've been waiting to buy a spiralizer, this is the one for you. I can't imagine any further improvements.
