Review on ๐Ÿ’ Portable Straight Hair Comb: Oblate Comb for Easy Styling, Multi-purpose Curling & Straightening with LCD & Temperature Adjustment Function (Ideal Gifts for Women) by Liz Trujillo

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Detachable power cord for easy storage. misleading description.

That's basically a hot comb, nothing more. I have thin straight hair and don't like blow drying my hair so thought this would be a good alternative. However, I have come to the conclusion that one should not use it on wet hair to dry it out. Use this to style your hair. It helps smooth unruly hair and helps my hair lay flatter after blow-drying, but it takes two toolsโ€”well, I just skip blow-drying. Except that I tried a blow dryer with a brush attachment and I loved it as my hair doesn't get as fluffy as with a regular blow dryer so I think I've found what works for me. That hot comb really doesn't work. Don't curl your hair either. With a lot of effort you can get a small flip at the ends, but nothing like the photos in the description can be seen. The bristles do not heat up, only the spike along the back of the bristles heats up. I was hoping real stubble would heat up like men's beard straighteners, but it doesn't. It heats up fairly quickly and has different heat settings. The power cord is detachable, pretty easy to install, swivels which is nice, and has a hanging loop which you need as I didn't want to put it on my granite countertop. Countertop for heating or cooling as I'm concerned the heat will crack or weaken the stone. I really miss tools that had a little stand to hold hot heads over surfaces while they heated up and cooled down.

Pros
