This humidifier really gets the job done and I appreciate its simplicity. There are serious design flaws. 1) There are open holes (for air flow) on the back of the device. This means that if you pour water into the device, a lot of water will splash out the back. 2) The device does not use bottles, but a tank that you fill to the bottom. Of course it was my fault, I didn't read the description well enough. The downside to this is that you have to make multiple trips to top up the device. I think I will invest in a large water spout to fill the device. I would stay away from this model :(
