Filter wicks fall apart after a month.

After a month the wick filters turned into a pile of paper and the device was unusable. It would be nice if the wick filters were made with a cone like a honey cone to hold the filters together. Disgusting quality of filters as ALL FOUR have completely broken down. Just received four new filters, they will collapse even without a honey cone to prevent destruction. Pay attention to the photos, which may also be toilet paper rolls. Strange

Easy to install and very effective

Exactly what I expected! Easy to install, just put the casters on, make sure the float and filters are positioned correctly, fill with water and plug in! It took less than 20 minutes to take it out of the box and use it. It's quiet at low and medium volume, a little noisy at high volume, but not as loud as some box or window fans. This device increased the humidity in a 30 x 50 foot section of a house from 23% to 37% in 1 hour, impressive!

What's the best mess in humidifiers

This humidifier really gets the job done and I appreciate its simplicity. There are serious design flaws. 1) There are open holes (for air flow) on the back of the device. This means that if you pour water into the device, a lot of water will splash out the back. 2) The device does not use bottles, but a tank that you fill to the bottom. Of course it was my fault, I didn't read the description well enough. The downside to this is that you have to make multiple trips to top up the device. I…

Filters for the last month, hauls buckets of water, louder.

Works well, replaces the old version that fans stopped after 10 years. This new sound is louder when the car is turned on, which is noticeable but very bad. And this one's old fashioned because it just has the whole bottom open and you bring water in and pour it. It's not as simple as a replacement unit with 2 plastic water bottles that you fill in the sink by closing the lid and then carry and place in the unit. Revolution. So it's like my 1970's grandparents carry a bucket and dump it, it's…

Better than an oven.

I considered installing the unit in the duct of my oven but have concluded that if it is only run with the heater on the humidity will never rise. You have to manually start the fan no matter how long it takes, which means cool air is blowing on you. This device works so well that after a few weeks the gaps in my wood profile started to shrink. After returning my Aircare Ultrasonic Humidifier due to a malfunction, I found I didn't need it. Topping up is as simple as pouring water into a console

Unfortunately, no description is available

Last question from February 4, 2020 and older questions refer to "water tanks". Since we had a similar humidifier in the past that used two water tanks, we bought this one. Upon unpacking, however, we found that it DOES NOT have water tanks; Water is poured directly into the humidifier. This is unacceptable. Two tanks made it possible to fill the kitchen sink; This device requires multiple trips from the sink to the humidifier with a bucket or similar water-carrying device. Of course, once the…

No more refilling water bottles AND getting EE code

I have had this console sized humidifier for over twenty years. Most were sold by Kenmore and could be filled with water jugs. It's the same size as the Kenmore console, but you have to carry the water jug to the car and carefully pour it out. My first car had an EE code on the panel when I turned it on. The EE code, which isn't in the owner's manual, means "electrical error", apparently because when I called support they told me the top part (with fans, controller, cords and humidistat) was…

Handles heating, cooling and air quality well

This unit is an improvement over the smaller unit I have brought into a matching garage. I can feel the difference in the main living areas. It's a shame it can't cover the entire 1800 square feet of our house or clean the litter box, but it keeps my acoustic guitars in good condition and doesn't suffer from static shock. Plastic and I find it a little brittle. No problem as it is in a safe location away from traffic. Another thing is that there are two "full" marks in the tank compartment, one

Great moisturizer that looks good too!

After LOTS of research for a high performance humidifier for my 2300 sq. ft. feet and a wing inside. I chose this one for various reasons; First of all, what does it look like. It was the only one that matched the design of my house and didn't stick out like a thumb. I was nervous about its quality based on the reviews but despite being a plastic tub it is still a solid plastic tub that looks better than most. The second is that it contains quite a lot of water. I live in a high desert area…
