Review on IceCap Magnet Mount Float Valve by Eli Cooper
Disappointed product for fish and aquatic animals
The concept was simple. A RODI universal float valve that I didn't have to drill a hole in the water tank to install. Unfortunately either the magnets were too weak or the magnets would never work. The water pushing the float is enough to move the mechanism to a point where the water just won't shut off. For this to work, you need to protect it differently. A magnet is a disaster waiting in the wings. Luckily I think like an engineer and can protect it properly, but that doesn't mean I'm happy with it. Wouldn't buy again.
