Amplifier Power Confusion

I bought this for my boat. Sounds really good with 4 x 6" Pyle speakers. The reason for the 3 stars is that while I couldn't use it on the boat I had to resort to the power supply for the inverter which plugs into the 12v accessory socket was. This would not involve a direct cable connection.I contacted the company which was email only (there was no support phone number which I found odd.) They replied a day later and asked me to connect it directly to the battery .Then I did this and had no luck.I emailed them on their request. After a week they didn't respond so I exchanged it for another device.Amaon delivered quickly. The new knee had the same problem. After reading more reviews said I learned to connect the remote and 12+ voltage for power and it turned on right away The manual doesn't mention this connection directly hnt, and there is no schematic. The instructions only talk about using the power supply, even though it's sold as a "marine" amp. Pyle could have done better by adding a schematic and a response to requests for information. The amp itself sounds good and doesn't get hot. Plus for the boat. Good buy. I only know the wiring. I've read that it doesn't draw more than 12v like a motor with an alternator, so be aware. In our case, this works well since there is no generator.
