Review on πŸ“± Waterproof Case for Samsung Galaxy Note 9 - SPIDERCASE Shockproof Snowproof Dirtproof | Black/Transparent by Nathaniel Collins

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The fingerprint scanner is robust, but hands-free and an issue.

after one month of use. Get used to the body. This is not bad considering the circumstances (Covid-19 pandemic). I can easily clean my phone, so maybe a speakerphone is a reasonable sacrifice, all things considered. The fingerprint reader took some getting used to, but now it seems to be working well. Update after about a week of use. The hands-free function suffers greatly under the case. While you can hear the other side, they can't hear you very well. Also, the phone sometimes incorrectly registers touches on the screen. Disclaimer: I've only had this case for a few days. This case is a spider case for Note 9 - Seems to be a good product. Easy assembly, looks solid. The only feature that bothers me is the fingerprint reader. The fingerprint reader cover is a small window with what appears to be a thin latex covering. I had to upgrade my fingerprints to make it work, but the upgrade requires you to 'swipe' vertically across the reader, which isn't really possible in this case. After removing the case, resetting the fingerprints (actually only my left and right hands were fine) and putting the case back on, the fingerprint scanner works. But not as good as a phone without a case. After some adjustment period I think that everything will be fine. But be aware that this can be a problem. I don't see how this shouldn't be a problem with a similar product. I think in general this is a good product for its kind.

Pros
