Never worked - Network Cards

I was excited to try this new Wi-Fi card to boost my signal. I downloaded the drivers from their website first as I no longer have the CD to be honest who has one. I took out my old Wi-Fi card and installed this. Attached the magnetic base to the top of my PC tower and booted. No WiFi signals were detected, but that's not a problem as I haven't installed the drivers yet. I installed the drivers which said the installation was successful and then rebooted. Have not found anything yet. I opened Device Manager and saw that the device was not working properly. It gave me (code 10) an error. I contacted tech support which was awful as they only had chat and after about an hour they gave me no helpful advice and tried to tell me it was my computer. I reinstalled my old wifi adapter and it worked fine without installing anything. I'm not sure if I was unlucky like some other people have mentioned but the tech support has been terrible and honestly it's easier to just get it back than jumping through all the hoops they wanted me to.
