Gansai watercolor differs from traditional Western watercolor in that it is less transparent in most colors, but the advantage of this is that it can be used on toned or colored paper can if applied thickly enough. . I use them as western watercolours, thinner washes on regular watercolor paper and I like their fluidity. There are clear and granular colors in this collection and I find they blend well although not intended to be blended (hence the wide range of colors so blending is not required as often). Brush. An absolute turning point. The packaging is great, very gift-worthy, and there is a protective plastic screen (size 48 colors) inside to ensure that the colors are not damaged in transit.
