I prefer a gender neutral changing pad so every family member can carry it around. The changing mat is made of high quality material and the stitching looks really good. I like that the upholstery material is really waterproof and easy to clean. I usually wipe the mat down with tissues at the end of each day. The lining is thicker than most diapers I've seen so you can be sure your baby will fit comfortably. The changing pad has a strap so you can hang it on your stroller if you don't have a changing bag. You. It also has detachable shoulder straps so you can wear it as a crossbody or crossbody bag. The pillow is easy to fold and unfold. When folded it is not too big, I would say it is comparable to a small laptop bag. My favorite part of the pillow is the multiple zippered pockets. You can stow all your diapers and essentials in the inner pockets. While the outside pocket is ideal for adult essentials like phone and keys.
