what a mess. When I ordered a Plantronics headset, I expected quality features, but I got exactly the opposite. First, even before I put the headset on, I noticed that the mic was rotating TOGETHER with the speaker. This means that in order to adapt the microphone to your mouth, you must also adapt the speaker to your ear. It gets annoying. You can't just set up the mic like most other headsets. Then I connected it to the phone. The first thing that happened was that literally nobody could hear me. I changed some settings on the phone and increased the microphone volume but it made no difference. There are two reasons. With the over-ear mic, the mic is about 15 miles from my mouth and you can't bend the mic to get close to my mouth. Even the cheapest piece of shit can do it. Second, it's close to the mouth even with over-ear headphones, but the sound is still terrible. Nobody can hear me until I put the mic IN THE MOUTH. Once it's in my mouth people can hear my fucking belly growling but my voice still isn't as loud as it should be. Needless to say I will be returning this useless headset. I have a $5 headset that I bought a few months ago, but it makes a little noise on the caller. But even with that hum, I can hear them clearly, and they can hear me crystal clear. I think I'll go back to the cheap piece of crap and stay away from Plantronics products. Well it's a joke.
