This air purifier works great. The magnet is strong and if they fall apart I can usually reset them just by holding them by the inner half. This makes cleaning my large aquarium much easier. The only problem is that you have to be very careful not to get any gravel or anything stuck in it! It is best not to use it near the ground. Now I have 2 big scratches on my acrylic because something got stuck in it and I didn't notice. Now I'm very careful. In addition, the cleaning surface resembles a plastic Velcro hook. It cleans the algae but with more brush strokes which is one of the reasons I have 2 big swirl scratches. I've found that by putting one of the white safety acrylic pads on it, I need a lot less washing and can move around the tank more slowly and carefully. I haven't scratched the tank since then.
