Review on Silicone Steam Release Diverter - Ultimate Kitchen Savior for Instant Pot/Pressure Cooker Accessories (DUO/Smart) by Darryl Duncan

Does exactly what it should!

I placed an order this week for a 6.5 liter Ninja Gourmet. I started watching the video and it became clear that I was going to have problems with the steam/pressure valve. With our old pressure cooker, I could just turn the computer on its side before releasing the pressure. Since the Ninja is so large with the lid still attached, I knew it would be awkward to turn it over to release pressure without dropping the entire computer onto the floor. Just installed my new Ninja and hooked it up after a water test for pressure relief. It's not tight, and it shouldn't be. You just put it on and look the way you want. I have an outward facing face, so I have to make sure one of my kids doesn't appear out of nowhere because it's aimed straight at the baby's face. Also, I only put it on to relieve pressure and then took it off because other reviews said it would affect the pressure in the device. I was very impressed with the device. Cheap and easy, and the steam doesn't spatter all over my kitchen cabinets. It is small and can be thrown in a drawer when not in use. I highly recommend it.
