The shading in the picture made me think it was a hexagon or an octagon. It's not, it's just round. It says it's stainless steel, but feels like plastic and weighs about the same as plastic. I put a magnet on it and it almost stuck to it, so I'm guessing there's a certain percentage of steel in there. Overall, it just feels cheap in the hand, but I think it's justified given that it's only $5. I'm also not a fan of all Viking consumables that offer 20% off your next order if you leave positive feedback. This is a shady marketing ploy that makes me stop buying their products in the future.
