Review on LavaLock® BLACK Adhesive Smoker Silicon by Tutcht Cobb

, I've been waiting for the right time of year to put it on a smoker who needs some insulation. I have a pad from the same brand that worked great so I was expecting a quality product. After cutting off the tip of the applicator, I started sliding it up and down like a tube of toothpaste. In less than a minute, the back wall of the tube ruptured completely. All my attempts to keep the tube from bursting failed again so I had to use my fingers as they were already closed to attach it. While I wouldn't recommend this product, if this happens to you, don't bother wiping it down with soap or car oil hand cleaner like I did, just put up with wasting a dozen or so paper towels and hold on You wet hands to help Dry paper towels wipe off this dirt. Good luck, I'll take a shower and wipe the last product off my knuckles.
