I have multiple tanks so I can stick the air stone and hose (with check valve) in one tank for a while and then move them to another (be careful not to turn it off). I leave it. in intermittent mode to save battery power. NOISE? It's not loud at all, in fact I have plug in pumps that are louder. PROBLEM. It's very easy to accidentally turn it on.
