Works well. The timer isn't very loud, but you can take it with you to any room you are in. The touch screen facilitates operation. You didn't have to read the manual to figure out how to use it. There is an on/off switch and a cook/timer switch on the back so you can easily switch from one task to another. Small compact, has two magnets on the back to attach it to anything but it doesn't have a stand to support it in case you don't have anything to magnetize it to. * Supplied with batteries. It can go into standby mode and display the temperature required to reach it.
