They are so well made and the zipper slides so easily. My 5 year old daughter doesn't speak but danced, twirled and jumped while wearing these shoes; so she loved her. Plus, she can do it herself. Another do-it-yourself skill! She has autism and loves sensory input, so shoes MUST be of good quality. And these are wonderful. Many thanks to Billy Footwear for this thoughtful and compassionate design. We will buy more! . PS: Don't be fooled by the fake versions at Target, WM, etc. They're cheap but unreliable, and in our experience, zippers are slow to open when your child is walking around because they lack a full, well-rounded zipper like Billy Footwear. realized and cannot withstand the force of the movement.
