I liked the simple design and decided to try them out for my 18 month old with AFO/SMO. After some research, almost everyone said Billy's would definitely fit, only to measure your foot in AFO to find out what size. My son wears foot braces and we've heard good things about this shoe brand's collaboration with AFO. Unfortunately they are not wide enough for my son's braces so we had to return them. He was very excited to try something new as there is only one brand and style that suits him, but we just couldn't get it to work. Hopefully they will come out with wider sizes soon. If they fit, they're great shoes, so just be prepared.

Got these for my daughter to wear to kindergarten when she doesn't wear an aphos because they are high cut and have a hard sole that doesn't flex, she walks on her feet (a ballerina in the making). I bought these as ankle support for my daughter when she is not wearing her AFOs. In reality, however, they barely match their current AFOs. My understanding is that if you're trying to dress them over AFO, you should buy about two sizes larger than what your child wears without an AFO.

This shoe is much narrower than regular or regular width shoes. I was having a hard time finding Afo corset shoes for my 2 year old and ended up breaking down and trying them out. When I opened them I was very confused as to how they were made for this particular item. I wouldn't recommend it at all for that reason and will therefore stick with New Balance Broad. Great concept. Seems to be well made in terms of material. Bought to fit my daughter's AFO as they are advertised as capable. Although they fit, they don't close completely due to the clip around the ankle. There isn't much stretch so we can't adjust them. They are already zoomed in, so zooming in again will make them too big. However, this is the best solution we've found so far to fog them up. If they closed all the way I would love them.

Our darling wears ankle braces. We bought them a few sizes up and removed the inserts and they fit perfectly! The zipper around the foot is ingenious and allows for quicker dressing.
