My fur baby is a Chihuahua with a long, thick coat. All groomers have closed due to the coronavirus so I had to buy clippers to groom him myself. I was afraid to buy a regular clipper for fear of hurting him, but I needed a clipper powerful enough for his thick, long hair, so I went with a kid's clipper. It worked great! Due to my lack of experience and lack of patience with me, it took a long time (: but the battery was still full when I finished.
