My CR-V has a loud noise from the passenger side rear hub. After watching a youtube video to calm my fears of another DIY project, I ordered a DuraGo 29512344 rear hub assembly and installed it upon Sunday delivery! The loud road noise is gone now. From start to finish, my son and I spent less than 50 minutes replacing the bearing assembly and tightening the bolts to factory specs with blue threadlock. My local store was offering $625 to replace the bearing with a similar non-genuine part. To do the job you will need: 1) 3-ton jack; 17mm (brake and bearing assembly bolts) and 13mm (brake line bracket); 4) 24 inch breaker; 5) ratchet; 6) Impact Wrench (Optional); 7) Torque wrenches up to 100 ft.lb; 8 ) Flat screwdriver (for adjusting parking brake tension); 9) Impact wrench (for brake rotor mounting screws); 10) LED indicator; 11) Thread lock (blue); 12) Youtube access; 13) Common sense (not available) online) ; and 14) 1 hour.
