I'm not exaggerating when I say I spent two days comparing every version of this "donut bed" guy on Revain, reading several hundred reviews and I too agonizing which one to buy, with good reason - Unfortunately our beloved arthritic senior dog has returned with cancer and while we await the visit to the oncologist I wanted to make sure she is very well as she is not well . I was grateful that it was one of the few options that would fit her (she's well under the weight limit for that) and I ordered it in the hope that she'd enjoy it and enjoy it while she chilled. I estimate she spent 12 hours on this over a total of two nights, and the center of it is an inch above my hardwood floor. My luxury bath mat would offer more padding or support. Her sides are taller, but not by much, and it doesn't make sense when her poor older body is on solid ground. Now I feel even worse than before I bought it. We have a vintage dog bed that she loves that we brought when we rode cross country and it has more support than this. This bed is already seven years old! Now I must try to return this worthless thing when I have no time and even less energy. The whole reason I ordered it from this dubious online shopping platform is because I needed to make our life EASIER as I am battling long term COVID/Pneumonia and she has cancer. Instead, I created another problem for myself by forcing my sick, tumor-ridden dog to lie on a hard floor. The only thing I can say is that it's really soft, just feels luxurious. You want to stroke it, the material is irresistibly lush. Other than that, it's garbage. Don't waste your time or money. :(
