Micro SD cards are becoming increasingly popular due to the explosive growth of PDAs (e.g. Blackberry, Motorola Moto Q9h, Samsung Black Jack, etc.). I haven't seen Micro SD used for digital cameras, so I'm guessing they're mostly bought for these PDA devices. Attention buyers! If your PDA says it can only support up to 2GB in the memory expansion slot, then anything above that size may not work. I bought this 4GB Kingston Micro SD with a Motorola Moto Q9h (AT&T) adapter and it couldn't see the Micro SD. It recognized this and told me how much memory is available, but that would give me an error and would NOT let me save to it or open the file I had on it. So I sent the Moto Q9h back and replaced it with a Blackberry Curve 8300, which also stated it had an expansion slot supporting Micro SD up to 2GB. However, I tested it with another Blackberry 8300 and it worked. Therefore, make sure that the micro SD memory card you buy works with your device. The safest way is to go to the store and try it on your device. Second, Motorola cannot compete in every respect in the PDA market. If you're thinking of buying a PDA, avoid Motorola. It failed in many ways, except that the expansion slot didn't work. I think, Windows Mobile OS was another problem. I tested it with another Blackberry 8300 and it worked.
