Very good at a good price. Presented in a great gift box (no kidding) and works very well, has some weight and is solid value for the apparent quality. Edit: After two months, the piston mechanism to start the flame no longer goes back to quickly extinguish the flame. . Now it slowly rises intermittently until it finally dies out in a stream of butane gas - not a good idea with a "turbo flame" (or any other) lighter. If you take your thumb off the ignition piston, the flame should go out immediately. Imagine it takes another 2-3 seconds. Also, the butane flow control/flame regulator screw is a pretty sloppy mechanism. "Rough" adjustment only, fine adjustment is difficult compared to other variable flame lighters. I missed that, but it seems more relevant now. The flame control knobs found on cheaper "Bic" style lighters work better. I would have skipped that part but now the problem is with the piston as sloppyness indicates sloppy internal components which could explain why this unit is cheaper than similar competitor lighters. Maybe I'll try graphite on the mechanism. The lighter was lame, I cleaned it as best I could with a non-marking electronics cleaner and a cotton swab. The customizer is inherently tedious to use. Many lighters of this type use the same thing, but this one has always had a sloppy control mechanism. It got to the point where it bursts into flames and then shuts off. One outlet seems to work relatively well, the other only "drips" when flames are lit. I've taken care of it and endured its sloppy work, but now the lighter shines with only about a year of use
