These shoes are similar to Brooks' earlier hiking shoes. That's just the tongue, which isn't leather but some sort of plastic that creaks as you walk. Of course they are made in China so you can expect very poor quality.
Pros
- In retail, I walk on concrete floors all day...my feet never hurt...great shoes at an affordable price...
Cons
- Lack of versatility for other activities like running or hiking
