Works exactly as advertised. The birds seem to like it a lot too, so I just cover it with my old one that has holes in it. My cycling day weathered a strong storm and was pretty dry. Of course there was mud on the underside of the wheels, but that's enough until I park on the cement and put my bike on jack stands. You can tell the craftsmanship by how thick it is. We've had a couple of hot days here, not enough to tell if the coating will change from black to grey. The material is thick and I like the reflective sections. I wish there were a few more straps and clips included, I like keeping my bike tidy. In general everything is fine and it came just in time for the rain.
