Review on 🖨️ DYMO 1752267 LabelWriter 450 Duo: High-Performance Thermal Label Printer with Dual Capabilities by Daniel Spear

My Dymo 330 has stopped printing. All labels are printed blank. So I bought a new improved Dymo 450 DUO with twice the firepower! It prints both labels and ribbons! However, the new "DYMO Connect" software does not work. It doesn't recognize the tape printer, so I was only able to print labels. So I went back to my old "Dymo Label" software, which recognized both the label printer and the tape printer! But when I printed on the ribbon, it jammed at first and all the text on the ribbon was black (see image). Called Dymo support (no answer of course) but a search turned up many complaints about blank labels. Also, the tape cartridge sits about an inch deep in the unit, so I assumed the tape was wasted. I was ready to throw away this whole mess. But after unboxing it and trying again, I found that the tape wasn't wasted; It then cuts and launches the ribbon from the printer and across the room! It is great! So I tried to print a label and found it printed blank (see picture) just like my old Dymo 330. It was a software issue the whole time. When I updated to the latest "Dymo LABEL" software (NOT "Dymo Connect"), everything works on the new label maker! So if your Dymo is printing blank labels, please update your software. If you like a tape drive, get the duo.
