Be careful it drips when it melts

I put a windshield on my CanAm next to this crap. The installation went great. This butyl sealant literally melted and dripped onto the dash and destroyed it. I did it in the garage, the temperature of which did not exceed 90 degrees. Now my hands are a mess as it's still dripping and I have to hold an old sheet on the dash to catch the stringers. Unless you live in Alaska, stay away from this product.
